Sarah Rheeders is a Durban-based visual artist and educator, originally from Mtunzini. Her practice spans mixed media, oils, resin and ceramics, with a strong emphasis on experimentation and material play. Deeply inspired by the natural world, her work explores the intersection of the organic and the universal interplay with the different mediums.

Alongside her art-making, allowing her to engage with ideas of process, curiosity, and discovery both personally and through students she mentors.
